Innoleo® 12HSA is a high-purity 12-hydroxystearic acid derived from castor oil. The product is used widely in grease complexing to create in-situ soaps that are critical for grease performance. The product can also be used in thermoplastic applications as an internal lubricant, as well as in rubbers, acrylic polymers, coatings, and ink systems. In addition, Innoleo® 12HSA can be used as a raw material to produce specialty chemicals such as esters, ethoxylates, and sulfates, among others.
